The season started in Sölden on October 27, but as you all know is a bit to early and no one other than Ted feels like winter time is here.
After Sölden and one week up in glaciers like hintertux and Diavolezza I flew to the USA, for some quality training in great weather and snow conditions. I had 2 DH, 2Sg and 2 Super Combined races. And 4 days of GS and asL training. Now after 4 years I put the world cup SL at Levi Finland in my calendar I will finally be there. (By the way I have to pay for my expense because my ski federation thinks is not that important) And after the race on Sunday I will be flying back to the USA, for the nor-Am opening at LOVELAND. I let you know how it goes in Finland if you see me in the second run that means it was a good desition to use 2300 $ usd to get there, if I'm not in the second run it may be I was to fast!!! And didnt make it to the finish. Wish mi luck I will post soon. El barilochense se impuso en una de las dos competencias de Súper Combinada que se hicieron este lunes en Nevados de Chillan, Chile. I won 4 races 2 SL and 2 GS, 2nd in SL at Antillanca, and the best result in SuperG from 2005. Blizzard skis and Tecnica Boots are working really good for me, the training in Cerro Castor Ushuaia was great, and the hockey games make it all really fun. now the only negative in all this is my left big TOE, after the doctor take a look at in in Ushuaia I was not able to ski all I wanted, now is only racing an trying to make it batter (fix it) Happy with my season so far, now I have Monday 2 super Combis in Chillan, hope it works like the rest of the races so far. After 2 days of racing in Bariloche, my home town and mountain 2 really good SL races with 2 wins. Tomorrow last race with the national championships of GS. Lets go for the gold I'm fired up and feel really good, just my toe is giving my some hard work. Love my job |
